“Many fans are saying it’s time to put the “G” back in HGTV.”

Still, there’s still hope for a return to the good old days of garden programming. HGTV tells us new episodes of Yard Crashers, starring Matt Blashaw, are currently in production and set to premiere on DIY Network on Saturday, April 8. And the new DIY Network show Lawn and Order (which just might be the best name for a landscaping show we’ve ever heard) will follow experts Chris Lambton and Sara Bendrick as they beautify lawns and exteriors.

HGTV Greenlight Season Two of DESERT FLIPPERS

More So-Cal home renovations are on the way as HGTV orders a second season of DESERT FLIPPERS. The series, which delivered double-digit P25-54 ratings growth year over year in the 11 p.m. timeslot during its first season, stars real estate agents Eric and Lindsey Bennett as they defy the triple-digit heat in Palm Springs to renovate dilapidated homes while raising three small children.

Boston Bombing Book ‘Maximum Harm’ From ABC News Producer Being Developed As Documentary Series

Glass Entertainment Group, producer of the series Tanked and The Vet Life, has just acquired rights to the book Maximum Harm, written by Emmy-nominated, Boston-based ABC News producer Michele McPhee. GEG will develop the book as a documentary series.

The book, which will hit the street in April, chronicles McPhee’s three-year investigation of the Boston Marathon bombing and the accused brothers which uncovered evidence of one of the brothers’ pre-existing relationship to the FBI. McPhee will work as both writer-producer on the series.

JC Mills, most recently an agent at ICM Partners, has been tapped as president and GM of Philadelphia- and LA-based indie Glass Entertainment Group.

In his new role, Mills will be charged with overseeing every aspect of the company, from sales and business to creative initiatives. He will evenly divide his time between Philadelphia and New York and report to company CEO and executive producer Nancy Glass when he joins the prodco on July 25.

Though vomiting, anorexia, lethargy and diarrhea may be common in newborn puppies, this Texas family may have saved their dog in the nick of time when they brought him into the hospital.

“His family adopted him not too long before that, but it was very obvious that he was a big part of the family and loved very much,” said Dr. Michael Lavigne, a veterinarian in Animal Planet’s The Vet Life.

They brought the pit bull puppy into surgery, where Lavigne can be heard in the clip discovering what was causing the puppy discomfort: “It looks like… is that a sock?”

In the 100th episode, Wayde and Brett are challenged by WWE’s Titus O’Neil to create a gator-themed tank that pays homage to his alma mater, University of Florida. But just like in the wrestling ring, Titus means business and if the gator is not perfect, the guys are in for a knockout.

Wayde and Brett return home to Las Vegas for one of their biggest projects yet. The famed Bellagio Resort and Casino has commissioned them to make over their conservatory that is seen by 18,000 visitors every day. The two-month project will turn the area into an underwater adventure with over-the-top sea creatures, water features, coral facades and thousands of plants situated in two 20-foot long saltwater aquariums that will transport their guests into an ocean-like tunnel.
